telling you exactly how we built your site and what it will take for you
to access and edit it yourself. It's a lot easier than you might
suspect. Many of our clients are doing minor edits in a matter of
minutes.
How do I get people to visit my
site?

#1 Tell everybody
!!! Put your address on your business cards,
your letterhead, your fax coversheets, your storefront, and ALL your
correspondence.

#2 Whenever
you have a phone conversation
ALWAYS invite the other
person to visit your website. Even if they NEVER do you have
left the right impression.

Get e-mail address from every client or potential client so that you
can easily contact them with a link to your page. You will
soon have a large list of e-mail addresses that you can send your information to for free !

Locate people in your area (and beyond) that you can exchange links
with. Almost everyone is willing to do this. Start with
the websites of your local Convention and Visitors Bureau and
Chamber of Commerce. These organizations usually give free
links to members. Even if you are not a member, you can easily
contact the members to exchange links. Some find that having a
"banner" ready to e-mail is helpful and makes a better
link than just text. (We can produce a custom
"banner" that they can "pick up" from your
site).

Submit your site to "search engines"
You can do some of this yourself for free at the links listed
below and you may also use
http://submit-it.com
. You can list your site with 20+ engines at no charge.
When and if you decide to do this, please use caution and read all
of the rules.
This can save you from being kicked out of the search engines. It is
always best
to discuss with us your intentions, so that they are not detrimental to
your site.
